COVID ProtocolsUpdatedSunday March 13, 2022 byBSC Registrar.
Please bookmark this page for all your important Practice Protocols and links. We will continue to update this page as we progress through the season and if at any time any protocol needs to change to meet current health requirements.
The Bethlehem Soccer Club reserves the right to update and change any and all practice and procedure requirements throughout the season to protect our players and families from COVID-19 or any other communicable disease.
We are still requiring all players, coaches, and volunteers to submit a COVID-19 Release form for the club. A second form for the league will no longer be needed. New forms are not needed each year but will be required if we do not have a form already on file for you or your player.
The form is attached below. Please complete, sign, and return to the club via email to email@example.com or mail to PO Box 305, Delmar, NY 12054.
Governor Hochul announced the lifting of the mask mandate for schools effective Wednesday March 2nd.
The BSC has no mask mandate in effect at this time, and the decision to wear a mask is up to individual families. Additionally, the BSC’s limit of one parent/spectator allowed inside the facility during training sessions is being dropped effective today as well.
Please note that we expect our families to continue to follow CDC recommendations in the event of illness.
In the face of ever changing guidance and circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the Bethlehem Soccer Club has remained committed to promoting the health and safety of its players, coaches, and families. To that end, we wanted to take a moment to remind you of our current soccer protocols:
As guidelines continue to change, we will adjust our procedures accordingly and will communicate any changes as they arise.
For those players who have tested positive, we also wanted to share the COVID-19 Interim Guidance: Return to Sports and Physical Activity published by the American Academy of Pediatrics. We encourage you to review the information and if you have any questions, to direct them to your primary care provider. The Bethlehem Soccer Club is not requiring formal paperwork at this time.
