Register now for spring rec soccer!
The Bethlehem Soccer Club is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the Spring Recreation Program.
Program Details
· The program is open to children aged Pre-K through 8th grade.
· All teams are co-ed.
· The program will be 7 weeks in duration, beginning on Saturday, May 3rd with our Recreation Kick Off Event. Additional information will be sent the week prior to the event.
· Weekly practices will begin Monday, May 5th.
· Saturday games will begin Saturday, May 10th, with the final games of the season being played on Saturday, June 21st. There will be 6 Saturdays of games, with no games on Saturday, May 24th, of Memorial Day weekend.
· The cost of the program is $125.00.
· Players will be assigned to age appropriate group teams. Each team will practice 1 day during the week and then have a game on Saturday morning.
Registration Information
· On-time registration will end on Friday, April 11th, 2025. Please sign up as soon as possible! Prompt registration allows us to create teams and divisions in a timely manner.
· Late registrations will be charged a late fee ($25) and automatically placed on a waitlist. Please note that there is no guarantee you will be placed on a team based on roster formation. We form teams to keep roster sizes manageable, and late additions can create teams that are too big and limit playing time for the players. Late registrations will be invited off the waitlist as rosters allow.
· Consider carefully your volunteer job; make sure it is one you can fulfill. If you have some knowledge of soccer or are willing to learn, please consider being a coach as this is critical to the number of teams we can support. The smaller the player-coach ratio, the better instruction we can provide. Without volunteer coaches, this program is not possible.
· If you do not wish to volunteer, you may opt out at a fee of $50 per family per season (if you are registering multiple children, the fee is only paid once per family. Also please note, academy opt-out fee is separate.)
Regarding Practices & Games
· Practices and games will be lead by parent coaches for all age groups. A member of the BSC staff will periodically visit the Pre K and Kindergarten age team practices.
· Coaches will receive a coaching manual with sample practices sessions and drills.
· Games are on Saturday mornings between 9am and 1pm.
Additional Details
· Each player will receive a team t-shirt.
· Each player will need to bring their own soccer ball, shin guards and water bottle.
· Registrants will receive an email approximately 1 week prior to the Kick Off Event confirming their team, coach and practice day & location, as well as additional details regarding the program.
